This ‘couldn’t be easier’ smoothie recipe is a simple and nutritious drink for pregnant women. Enjoy all the nutritious benefits of bananas and coconuts!

The high levels of potassium in bananas are great for combatting high blood pressure in pregnancy – bananas also contain a generous level of tryptophan which converts into serotonin to boost your mood.  This drink feels like a hug in a glass.


2 medium, ripe bananas
250ml coconut milk
Sprinkling of ground cinnamon


Simply blend the bananas and coconut until smooth.  Pour into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon.
